Help With Basic Expenses
Member: Wendy Bower
Due to numerous surgeries (25) over the last 3 years, Wendy lost her job and was struggling to pay basic bills such as groceries and electricity. Due to Women Supporting Women in Middle TN, we were able to get her electricity bill current and prevent her electricity from being disconnected.
Adoption = Forever Home

I have been given the incredible opportunity to provide two precious little boys, Hunter (4) and Hayden (3), with a forever home. I know their family very well, and after much thought and discussion, I was asked to adopt them due to their biological family’s inability to care for them any longer. With love in my heart, I agreed to step in so these boys would never have to experience the uncertainty of foster care. As a single mother, I am fully committed to raising Hunter and Hayden with stability, safety, and unconditional love. However, when I made this commitment, I was misinformed that there would be monthly financial support to help with the expenses of raising two young children. Unfortunately, with that support falling through I am now facing the weight of adoption fees, legal costs, and the everyday needs of two toddlers—all on my own.
